Drew Sims serves as vice president of investor relations at EIV Capital, where he helps the firm’s investor relations team develop and manage relationships with institutional investors.

Drew brings more than a decade of experience spanning private banking, capital formation, and investment strategy. He joined EIV from J.P. Morgan’s U.S. Private Bank, where he served as Vice President covering financial sponsors and financial institutions. Earlier, at Legacy Knight Capital Partners, he served on the investment team and led investor relations across private equity, credit, venture, and real assets.

Before entering finance, Drew served as an officer in the United States Navy. His tours included undersea warfare lead aboard the USS Donald Cook (DDG 75), intelligence analyst at the Office of Naval Intelligence, and Military Social Aide to the President at the White House.

Drew earned his MBA from Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.
