Michael Tompkins-Berry joined EIV Capital in 2022 and currently serves as director of engineering for EIV Resources.  He is responsible for all aspects of the technical evaluation and management of EIV Resources’ upstream assets.

Prior to EIV Capital, Michael worked as director of reservoir engineering at ARM Resource Partners, LLC, where he focused on capital investments in the non-operated upstream oil and gas sector.  His responsibilities included evaluating and underwriting new investments, reserves evaluation, and performance monitoring and reporting.  He also served in Apache Corporation’s corporate exploration evaluation group, where he focused on portfolio optimization and evaluation.  Michael started his career at Devon Energy in various production and reservoir engineering roles.

Michael earned his B.S. and M.S. in petroleum engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
