Gary Levin joined EIV Capital in 2023 and currently serves as a partner and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.  He is actively involved in the firm’s strategy and is responsible for originating and stewarding investments across EIV Capital’s areas of focus.

Prior to joining EIV, Gary spent 19 years focused on energy private equity investing and was most recently a partner at Ares Management based in Los Angeles.  Prior to joining Ares, Gary was a managing director at Blackstone based in New York.  Before joining Blackstone, Gary was a vice president at Pine Brook Partners, and he began his private equity career at Warburg Pincus.

Gary holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a dual concentration in finance and accounting.
